See the Webby Awards!

If you missed the Webby Awards (which is, like, everyone), you can check out Monday night’s ceremony through a slick YouTube Channel. It collects all of the acceptance speeches as well as behind-the-scene shenanigans.

The best part about the speeches? They were only five words long, which means their videos are barely 15 seconds long. With two prizes in more than 100 categories, that’s a very good thing.

Some speech highlights, sent over by the Webby folks (fortunately, because I don’t have the time to watch the 200+ videos):

“Thank God Conan got promoted.” — Jimmy Fallon, Webby Person of the Year

“Wait, we didn’t charge anything?” – Trent Reznor, Webby Artist of the Year (including releasing his 2008 album for free download online)

“Creativity is a renewable resource.” – Biz Stone of Twitter (Webby Breakout of the Year)

“What is this for again?” – Seth MacFarlane (Webby Film & Video Person of the Year)

“I didn’t kill newspapers, okay?” – Arianna Huffington (Best Political Blog)

“Victoria’s Secret: sexy lingerie. Yeah.” – Victoria’s Secret models Doutzen Kroes and Alessandra Ambrosio (Best Fashion Site)

“Fashion.” Heh.
