YOUR GUIDE TO THE TWIN CITIES

Whistleblower has some more reporting muscle in taking on your tips. My colleague Pam Louwagie created quite a stir with her inaugural Whistleblower story, about the $9 million mile of the Cedar Lake bicycle trail that will cruise through Minneapolis’s Warehouse District. As a member of the Star Tribune’s investigative team, she will be take on bigger projects in addition to the quicker turn, reader-suggested stories that Whistleblower has become known for. Keep those ideas coming.

More wasted taxpayer money. I see R.T. is planning on revising his budget now that he will be getting some free money via the stimulus package (taxpayers money) I’m sure he will be responsible with our money like he has been in the past. Maybe some additional drinking fountains.

What really ticks me off is the spending on all these bike trails, that MOST bikers will not use because they have the right to the road. (See Roadguy’s blog for many blogs about this). Why are taxpayers paying for the bike trails if these people are not using them or advising other bicyclist not to use the trails? Stop the SPENDING!!!!!!!
