recovery.pngIt was inevitable - the stimulus spending now has its own logo, with a web site tossed in to acknowledge we’re in the 21st century.

The $787 billion is buying more than just a new symbol. In recent days, we’ve learned that the tentacles of the stimulus law reach into weather-stripping and thermal-paned windows, energy-efficient traffic lights, food stamps and a one-time, $250 check for Social Security recipients, headed your way in May.

Everyone wants a piece of the stimulus action. Even Congressional investigators. If you see waste and fraud with stimulus funding, the Government Accountability Office wants you to turn in the scofflaws. Report it here.

Will expect my $250 in May and will put it in the bank.

What is the $250 for and what age is a senior I am 62?

If you already collect Social Security, I think you’re eligible for that extra payment.
