Fernandez reinjures knee

Wild goalie Manny Fernandez missed practice Wednesday in suburban Denver and will not play Thursday’s game against Colorado after tweaking his left knee Tuesday night in St. Louis.
Fernandez sprained his left MCL on Jan. 20 and missed one game before returning Saturday at Columbus.
The Wild is making the injury sound minor, although Fernandez sounded a lot more concerned.
Assistant GM Tom Lynn said he’s questionable for Thursday’s game. Wild coach Jacques Lemaire said Niklas Backstrom’s starting but Fernandez will practice.
“I don’t know exactly what I have,” Fernandez said. “We’re still in the process of finding out. We knew it was going to be tweaked and re-tweaked and I was going to have to work through that.
“…It’s tough to concentrate on my game when it’s always tweaking.”
Josh Harding is expected to be recalled.
