Noah, I agree. Especially about previous drafts by the Wild. It takes time to build a perpetual winner.

It does not occur overnight and there are setbacks along the way.

Also, if the Wild do not make money, we do not get what we want either.

For some reason, everyone looks at an organization that makes money suspiciously and expects them to be entirely philanthropic.

If the Wild do not prosper, nobody gets what they want.

If they do prosper, then we have a successful franchise and the fans get to appreciate great hockey for a long time to come.

By the way isn’t owning a team the same as running a business? Isn’t the goal to make money? Why are we bashing our team for being a money maker, that just means they are going to be around for a long time and we don’t have to worry about the ‘pour NHL’ contracting us. Soon they are going to need to look at that, the league is getting watered down and some teams are still losing money.
