Well, sorta. Today, the team is undergoing physicals and has a meeting tonight.

On-ice sessions begin at 10 a.m. tomorrow, which to me, is the official beginning of training camp. Finally.

Just came from the Wild media luncheon. Because the Wild will quickly play three exhibition games in four nights next week, it’ll immediately begin scrimmaging the next three days.

FYI, the Sunday scrimmage at white bear lake is apparently sold out by the WBL Hockey Association already.

Not too much news came out of today. Lots of optimism, which always occurs in each town a month prior to the opener when you’re undefeated.

Jacques Lemaire did talk a lot this morning about how excited he is to have center Eric Belanger in the fold. Lemaire is a fan and sees him on the first or second line obviously.
