Paul Walsh note on Wild to match firefighters’ collections at Rangers game.

Gophers Okposo to sign with Isles

Kent went to practice and reports Todd Fedoruk (shoulder) and Derek Boogaard (back) didn’t practice. Neither did Petteri Nummelin, who is either sick or sick and tired of being on IR as Mr. Youngblood cracked.

I’m watching Game 1 of the ‘82 Finals right now on NHL Network. I’m reminded just how ugly the Canucks’ old sweaters were. Ugliest in professional sports history. I’m rooting for the Islanders. I think they’ll win, I really do.

If I had to guess, I think Mike Bossy’s going to score with two seconds left in the first overtime. Money in the bank, folks, money in the bank.
