Tuesday’s skate update

From blackberry, so it’ll be short.

Mark Parrish is out tonight because of what’s clearly a concussion. He didn’t skate, is still wobbly and is having trouble sleeping. But he does have some new pearly whites.

Matt Foy will play for him.

Josh Harding is sick, so Nolan Schaefer is expected to be recalled to back up Niklas Backstrom tonight.

Rest of the lineup remains the same. Looks to me from watching Detroit skate that Dominik Hasek is in net, but not positive. He has never lost to the Wild, I believe.

Evidence that this is a big statement game for the Wild? Jacques Lemaire had an optional skate today solely to see who didn’t go on the ice.

The only person that exercised his option was Lemaire himself. Every player was on other than injured Parrish and Derek Boogaard, and ill Harding.
