More Gaborik stuff, State Fair Wild schedule

FYI, Doug Risebrough’s having a conference call at 4 to update media on the recent meeting with Marian Gaborik. I don’t expect any new news out of this; this is just to update the electronic media. But I’ll blog if anything comes up.
The Wild plans to be very forthcoming with the media throughout this process because of how delicate it is. As for all the trade talk, don’t panic yet. The Wild hasn’t even made its first offer. But as I’ve been reporting since the All-Star Game, it doesn’t help the Wild or Gaborik if this becomes Marian Hossa, the Sequel. If Gaborik has no interest now in extending his contract, the Wild will be forced to investigate trading him. This would be a distraction not just in the season, but during training camp as well.
But right now, this is all premature.

Great, the day I’m going to the fair and D&D are on the bill. If it wasn’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all….
I hope that with Dougie and Gabby’s Agent talking, this will be figured out one way or another soon.

Thursday’s session will be reminicent of the Spinal Tap ‘Smell the Glove’ record signing promotion organized by Artie Fufkin. At least GreenStar would have shown if they had booked Marney!

Seems like the more delicate the situation, the less they’d want a media spotlight on it. Or is that just to keep the rumor mill from churning so much distracting garbage out?
BNaG, The day the Mr and I were thinking of going is Swarm people. Oh well, we’ll probably end up not going anyway. We talk about going every year and most years we end up staying home.

She’ll be over at the FSN booth for Twins Live… G* will be under surveillance by Fair Police during her appearance. 
WRT, zigtron, and kj are going to be the 1st 3 in line for the Friday August 29th session….NOT!

Well maybe if you are lucky it will be a “pay $5 to punch D&D in the face” day. Now that would be worth it.
I don’t know about youse guys but I’m definitely planning on going to meet “Swarm Performance Team Member”. She’s so hot!
BNAG, You could always mention to other fair-goers that someone else is up there and see if you can’t get them all to go up to meet them and say “Oh, they told me xxxx was going to be here.”

1 month away from training camp. I can already feel the season coming! It will be fun to watch and see what rookies make it this year.
Now I know the season is getting close. I just received the tracking number for our ticket package.
hey, you think Falness would put the conference call on the pondcast? He might not have access to his studio anymore because of the RNC makeover. I’d be interested in hearing what DR has to say.
