I really don't see the Wild taking a goalie back in a trade for Gabby.
1. Any Wild goalie will compete for the Vezina. That's the whole point of the defensive-center style. We don't need a potential #1 goalie as our #2. 2. If Gabby goes, the Wild need another goal-scorer, not just another center.

It's to early in the season to make a big deal of the start by Shep, Gillies, and Pouliot. It's good reading about JL theatrics, but this is a non-issue until after the first 20 games are played (maybe 9 games for Gillies).

The Montreal trade rumors are interesting, but this appears to a lot of smoke with little fire. Gaby is hurt and both teams are winning, so why shake up the roster. If you think that a Gaby trade will happen before December, look at the teams that are off to a slow start.

Goody:

The reason why calling out Gaborik works is that he himself realizes that he wasn't working hard enough or doing things wrong. After Lemaire's, remarks, Gaborik turned it around. Pouliot does not seem to realize what his mistakes are. He continues to make them over and over. Or he isn't working as hard.

Against Tampa Bay, there was a couple of times where the opponent dumped in the puck in the corner and Pouliot was closer to the puck than our defensemen. He let the defensemen go into the corner while he stood in the center of the offensive zone. One time, I think Schultz gave him a lok before going into the corner to fight for the puck. He could have saved a play and gotten the puck out of the zone instead of waiting for the defensemen.
