I am honestly amazed by all the people who are surprised the Wild lost to Chicago yesterday.

The Blackhawks are a dysnasty in the making, as long as they can work the cap. They have all the parts to be a top 10 team for a long, long time.

Chicago is, and has been a better team than the Wild for virtually the entire season. I'm not disappointed the Wild lost to Chicago, I'm just upset that they looked so pathetic while losing.

The Wild have already shown this year, that they cannot keep stride with the fast teams (remember the Dallas game)

The quick teams will continue to give the Wild fits all year.

on another note - BBBBenny is another perfect example on why the NHL should never follow the NFL, in awarding huge contracts to unproven rookies.

Benny will never be more than a 3rd liner in the NHL. No heart, no desire, no work ethic = no success.

Is that an acronym for an acronym?

Yep. Doncha love it?

I'm dying to know what Mikko really said. Any little bird want to tell me? ;)

I wonder about Mikko's tone when he said "they're not that good." KiPA emailed me really surprised that he said that. I was surprised, too. PD picked up on it, too. Unwise, IMO.

I don't think youth can be an excuse, though - look at Chicago. They played fast and furious against us and, to be blunt, made us look unskilled or even old.
