I wouldn't say that I HATE Hossa but I will say I think it is hilarious that he snubbed the Penguins because he had a better chance to win a cup with the Wings. That's some good irony.

I thought that Hockey's Future write up was a bit of a head scratcher too. I don't see the tendency to draft college players when we've only taken 1 in the first two rounds in our entire history. I don't think Fletcher has taken a ton of college players as an assitant GM? Also the suggestion that we trade away the pick for immediate help makes even less sense. We're bare of any top end prospects save for Cuma, it's been confirmed directly from Chuck Fletcher that he loves having draft picks and this is considered a deep draft and we have a top 15 pick. Just makes ZERO sense.

Remember back when the Wild would cycle in the offensive zone for it seemed like ages? Maybe Bruno was remembering that. I haven’t seen the Wild do that in quite some time.

That's because PMB started cycling by himself just inside the blue line.

I am certainly not STK's biggest fan - I still think he's too much of a whining baby for a player of his stature - but this flap over the handshake seems way overblown, if simply not made up altogether. Even I have a hard time thinking he was intentionally blowing of Lidstrom and the Wings. I think Draper and the Wings are the whiners here.

On the other hand, Bruno could've thought it wouldn't be much of an adjustment since he'd played for Jacques before. Then he got here and started playing for Jacques version 2008.09 and discovered it was much different than the Jacques version 2003.04 that he remembered.
