So here’s some latest news about Saku’s situation… A finnish newspaper interviewed him and Saku Koivu was quoted saying:

“I’ve got a few offers and with some of them I’ve been negotiating. Negotiations have gone well and things look good. I still wanna take it easy and consider my options.”

“The most important (in new team) thing is that I wanna go to a ready organization, not to one still in building process. At this stage of my career I wanna play for a team that can really succeed. Of course family reasons are important, but most of all I want to achieve something.”

I hope that he’d join Wild, but it sure doens’t look too good.. Maybe Mikko will talk him into it.

WRT, I never said you did. As I mentioned other than your blind hatred of Skoula you are generally pretty sound–in my humble view. I was speaking of some who post on this blog.
