—————————————

Practice just started here at Xcel Energy Center. Of the “dinged up” guys, Mikko Koivu, Andrew Brunette, James Sheppard and Craig Weller are practicing.

Pierre-Marc Bouchard, Benoit Pouliot, Derek Boogaard and Shane Hnidy are not.

NO PETR SYKORA EITHER

Also, if you read the notebook from the Jackets game the other night, you know management and coach Todd Richards have been complaining about the ice conditions here at the X and the possible link toward all these groiners and hippers and leggers. Today, all the black curtains separating the ice from the concourses are closed.

This is meant to block the sun from reaching the ice, as well as the humidity due to doors opening and closing all day.

Best news of the day — with so many cuts, only one practice per day now as opposed to two groups. That means shorter days for moi.

(update): Dubielewicz and Milroy cleared waivers.
