Tickets are still available for tonight’s 8:15 p.m. home opener, the Wild’s only home game in the next 15 days. The Wild then leaves tomorrow for a five-game, 11-day road trip. Wish me luck. If anybody’s going to the game in Edmonton, can you bring my winter jacket so I don’t have to lug it around California for a week?

I’ll be doing a live chat on www.startribune.com today at 1 p.m. I’ll freshen up the blog after the morning skates.

Also, if you’re waiting for a returned email from me, I’m way behind. The good news is I’ve got a long flight tomorrow, and a five-hour flight on a regional jet to Edmonton next week. In other words, you’ll be hearing from me soon.
