Michael Russo has covered the Minnesota Wild and NHL for the Star Tribune since 2005 following 10 years of covering the Florida Panthers for the Sun-Sentinel. Michael fell in love with the sport thanks to the New York Islanders’ dynasty of the early-'80s and being able to cover the three-time Sunshine Hockey League-champion West Palm Beach Blaze in the early-'90s.
