Gerald Green — the Timberwolves’ only lone All-Star Game representative — has gone to New Orleans to compete in tonight’s slam-dunk competition, with an assist from teammate Rashad McCants. Randy Wittman’s gone to Boston and New Hampshire to watch his son, Ryan, play for Cornell against Harvard and Dartmouth. Ryan Gomes, Al Jefferson and Randy Foye have all gone home, to Connecticut, Mississippi and New Jersey respectively. And Marko Jaric is off to the Bahamas for four days, presumably with girlfriend Adriana Lima. “Just the two of us,” he said. The Wolves are off until a 6 p.m. practice Monday and play Philadelphia Tuesday at Target Center, two days before the NBA trading deadline.
