TNT’s David Aldridge asked Kevin Garnett about Glen Taylor’s comments earlier on Tuesday. Here’s what he had to say about that after the Celtics’ ended the Rockets’ 22-game winning streak in Houston:

“I’m in Boston (and he held the logo on his warmup t-shirt out the camera for emphasis). I care less what Glen Taylor thinks of Kevin Garnett…That’s nonsense. I don’t even know why he’d bring that up, but it shows the taste of some people.”

Later after the game, he told newspaper reporters, “First off, I just want to say, man, Glen Taylor was good to me while I was a Timberwolve. And I’m a Boston Celtic now. I’m not going to be going back and forth and saying tasteless things. That’s not my character.

“I’ll let him speak if he wants to. I have nothing to do with the Minnesota Timberwolves. That’s my past. I’m in a new chapter in my life, and I thank him for the opportunity when I was younger to not only explore my dream but to make it where I’m at today. That’s all I’m going to say about that.”
