Sorry, but due to technical difficulties in the switching of the serves on our blogs, I couldn’t post for the last three days. I’m back. Good timing, because I didn’t go to Bismarck (darn!) last night anyway. That’s the one preseason game we decided to skip. I’ll be back with more after today’s practice.

Jerry Zgoda is back for his second season on the Wolves beat, after covering the franchise's first four seasons so long ago. He has spent the offseason diligently working on his deadline chops, brushing up on his Strunk & White Elements of Style writing guide book and tirelessly drilling to improve his foot speed so he has a quicker first step to the pregame buffet line this season. He celebrates his 24th anniversary at the Star Tribune two nights after the Wolves open the regular season at home against Sacramento on Oct. 29.
