From Mr. Zgoda, whose computer isn’t liking blogs at the moment:

The Wolves get Sebastian Telfair back from his season-opening, three-game NBA suspension tonight, just in time to meet a San Antonio team that is 0-3 for the first time since 1973.
1973? That was the Spurs first season in existence in San Antonio in the old American Basketball Association. Moved from Dallas and renamed from the Chapparals before that season, they made their debut with George Gervin and the unforgettable Sven Nater that year.
Randy Wittman told his team at Wednesday’s shootaround not to expect a “normal-intensity Game 4 of the season” tonight.
“This is a veteran group that’s going to come out and stop that,” Wittman said of an 0-3 slide that includes losses to Phoenix, Portland and Dallas.
The Wolves get a break tonight in this regard: The Spurs are without Manu Ginobili, who is expected out until December while he recovers from off-season ankle surgery.
In two games at Target Center last season, Ginobili shot 77.7 percent from three-point range (7 for 9 each game) and averaged 37.5 points.
