The Mc-Era begins again

Kevin McHale returns to the sidelines tonight at Target Center, ironically enough on the 20th anniversary of Utah coach Jerry Sloan’s hiring. Sloan has been the Jazz coach longer than the Wolves have existed, and he is the longest current tenured coach in pro sports.
No word yet on whether McHale will wear a suit or one of his fabulous sweaters, but his starting lineup is going to look like this: Randy Foye is back at point guard, Rashad McCants will start at two guard, Ryan Gomes at small forward, Craig Smith at power forward and Big Al at center round out the frontcourt.
That’s right, sorry, Wolves fans: No Kevin Ollie in the starting lineup…
McHale said he wants to exploit matchups and run a “multi-flow” offense in which practically anybody can bring the ball up the court and get it into a spot when a guard can accept the ball and continue the offense.
“That’s the way we want to play,” he said. “Whether we can play that way, that’s the question.”

Might as well let Kevin Love take point guard. Maybe he can hit one of his “patent” half-court shots!
Fire McFAIL now and take the 3 first round picks we should have this year and START OVER! Maybe we can draft 3 players from North Carolina….I bet the Tarheels could beat the current T-Wolves team that McFail has assembled!
Hopefully McFail’s sweaters are flame-resistant…he is going down in flames!!
The Wolves play tonight? Dang, I was hoping it was Wednesday so I can watch a REAL basketball team play…the Gophers! At least they play with passion!!
Bring back Pooh Richardson, Felton Spencer, Luc Longley, Christian Laetner, Sam Mitchell, Doug West…at least those guys tried…even though the teams were pathetic…
Jerry…Any update on Mike Miller? Will we see him play at all tonight?
Take it easy on me guys. I’ve got a big trade brewing. I’m going to try to bring back Marbury! Hopefully the Knicks will take all of our 1st round picks this year, and Al Jefferson.

it is almost laughable on McHale’s arrogance when it comes to the Wolves analysis. They might win 1-2 games in december. Then what? Lets hope he fires himself for not getting the talent assembled by mgmt to play. I am sure he will throw someone else under the bus. Flip, Casey, Witt. Who’s left?

Thanks Moon. It’s nice to know the fans have my back. It was a little discouraging to see all of those “McFail” signs at the Clippers game. When everyone started chanting Roy and Mayo’s names it almost put me over the edge. I mean seriously, who can blame me for trading Mayo for a fat white guy who cannot jump? And that whole Roy thing, isn’t a guy entitled to make one mistake?
Yeah, Moon, Witt was a loser. Nothing like me. He thought he was Bobby Knight or something…always yelling at the team from the sidelines. I’m sure I’ll be a breath of fresh air to the players.

Why start Smith over Love? McCants starting? Really? Notice how his lineup now is 3 players he drafted, and the other 2 from the KG trade. The starting lineup may score, but the other team will score at will.
I built this whole team, medschool. Every lineup is going to have someone I drafted, traded for, or signed.
They will play hard these first couple of games but sadly they are against, Utah, Denver, San Antonio, and the great Lakers.

They will play hard… I agree. They will continue to lose… the 1st 4 games will take the toll on the team because they are going against great teams… and then this team will regress to the Wittless Wonders again. Maybe now they will be the McFailures instead of the Wittless Wonders?

It looks like a packed house at Target Center to see McHales debut. The Wolves are the worst team in the land of 10,000 losing teams.
Thats why Love will struggle, blocked twice by AK47, he can’t dunk over anybody and he is 6-10. Good rebounder but he needs to turn and kick it out not try to lay it in over good shot blockers.
Kirilenko is a freak though - he’s blocked much better than Love in his day
He’s still developing his offensive game; give him time
and LOL at krispy kremes - i would love some KK’s right now
He’s also been blocked by guards down there though, I know, give him time but I just wish we had Mayo or Westbrook, and electric guard to go with Jefferson would be awesome right now. Wake up me,lol.

They look good tonight, McCants is horrible, tons of bad shots and he just keeps shooting. They are getting hustle baskets and loose balls but Derron Williams hasn’t made a shot and we are only up 1 so we’ll see. P.S. Carney got some good minutes hit 2 out of 3 3’s but air balled the other one, but he also had a couple of nice blocks.

Sorry guys, I had to take a break from blogging to coach the team in the 1st half. MAC IS BACK! I’m doing pretty well, huh? I really got this team going. Soon enough you all will be on the McHale Bandwagon.

At least there were only a few hundred people at the game to watch this garbage. Love looked petrified at the line in crunch time. That is not a good sign for that mound of crap.
Its all about confidence. They played with heart tonight, and look at how many times they got to the free throw line. Remember, Love is only 20 years old… He will be a winner… he’s got a lot of fight.
This “new energy” as FSN has been shoving up our rectum all night will last about, oh, four games like tonight until the malaise returns. Fool’s gold.
If Kevin “effing” Ollie is as much of the big picture as he was tonight then McHale might as well leave to go kill animals right now. He was in the game too much, in the game at crunch time too much, shot too much. He needs one of those six week high ankle sprains or a plantar fascia deal. He’s a waste of time and space.

Oh well, back to listening to Jim Pete, Tommy H and Anthony “I have a squirrel on my head” LaPanta verbally fellate how great everything is.
why does Collins not play all game? Why do you have Jefferson and Love in there to defend? Collins could have at lead had a shot at Ohkur’s ‘running jumper’ as espn called it. At least they were close, but McCants sealed his fate that he won’t be back
It is frustrating though. I want to give up on this team, but I can’t. I never did like Wittman as a coach, but I’ll give McHale a chance.
