Gameday update: Miller gets the green light; Brewer surgery Wednesday

Just a couple of newsy items to post before we get to the pregame update a little later on.
Mike Miller was all smiles at the morning shoot around today, and it appears he is a go for tonight’s game against the Spurs. He has missed four straight games with a sprained right ankle.
“Right now it [the ankle] feels real good,” Miller said.
Coach Kevin McHale confirmed that Miller is ready to go. Rashad McCants will move to the bench; the other starting four will remain the same.
In other news, Corey Brewer said he will have surgery Wednesday. Brewer tore the ACL in his right knee in a game against the Nuggets on Nov. 29, and is out for the year.
“It’s hard to watch, man,” Brewer said of being sidelined. “It’s very disappointing.”
Back with more later this afternoon.
