Cavs at Wolves tonight: Good luck!

LeBron James comes to Target Center tonight for his lone visit of the season. There might have been a slight chance the Cavs could overlook the home team, but that probably vanished when their 11-game winning streak ended Saturday at Atlanta.

They’re looking to start another long streak, the Wolves are looking not only to end their 10-game losing streak, but to get out of December sometime without an 0-fer.

On Sunday, Ryan Gomes drew Kobe Bryant for his defensive assignment. Tonight, he’ll likely start on LeBron.

“Everybody is going to get LeBron, the whole team,” Kevin McHale said. “You’ve got to load up with him. He’s special. They’ve got it working right now. They’re tied in defensively. They play off each other really well. That’s where we’ve got to get to: Reading and reacting to what the defense does. If you overcompensate here, they attack there. If you overcompensate there, they attack here. That’s the way basketball is played.”

Zydrunas Ilgauskas and Boobie Gibson are not expected to play for the Cavs tonight because of injuries.

You know LeBron is going to get his. I think Mo Williams is the key and I’m sure he is going to destroy Foye.

With Ilgauskas probably out tonight, the ball needs to be touched by Big Al or Love (whoever’s down low)on every offensive set.

Icz

The Cavs actually have some good interior defenders in Ben Wallace and Side Show Bob.

McHale hasn’t done much as a coach but the one thing he has done is make sure that Jefferson can’t complain about not getting the ball enough.

Thats nice to get Jefferson the ball but maybe Miller would shoot more if Al wasn’t screaming for the ball every time down the court. And why don’t the Wolves use Miller like Rip is used for Detroit, you guys should see all the plays that they have for Rip and Iverson coming off screens. I know Mike can shoot just as good as Rip.

It’s a good thing that Boobie Gibson isn’t playing. Maybe there is a chance for victory. . .

Matty I won’t take the bet. Love gets rejected more than I do at the singles bar… Four, five, six times a night…

Which one is Sideshow Bob? West or Varejao? I can’t tell because they both have it pretty close. . .
