Two in a row?: Wolves at Bulls

Al Jefferson arrived at United Center Saturday night yawning and gassy, the latter condition he attributed to eating too much red meat.
Maybe he knew something.
The Wolves and the Bulls started Saturday’s game by combining to miss their first 16 shots. The first basket was scored by Chicago’s Ben Gordon until the game was more than four minutes old. The Wolves led by 17-16 at the end of the first quarter.
Not exactly great “pace” or “flow,” as Kevin McHale might say, on a night when his tema for the seventh time this season is looking for its first win streak.
The Wolves, led 23-19 with 9:46 left in the second as I post this, lost starting point guard Kevin Ollie to a dislocated left elbow in the first quarter.
He went to the hospital to have the elbow set into place and will not return to the game.
