Duncan out for tonight’s game with Spurs

The Wolves catch a break tonight at AT&T Center, where they play the first of six road games against playoff teams in their next seven games: Spurs coach Gregg Popovich is holding out Tim Duncan tonight as a precautionary measure with those playoffs just a month away.
That means the Spurs will play without both Duncan and Manu Ginobili, two of their Big Three.
The Spurs played (and lost) at Oklahoma City on Monday night, so Popovich placed Duncan on the inactive list for tonight’s second half of back to back games. Duncan missed three games in late February with an inflamed tendon in his knee and apparently continues to be bothered by the condition.
“He doesn’t love it,” Popovich said of telling Duncan to rest tonight.
Popovich said he decided to do so to help ensure the perennial All Star center is “fresh and healthy” for the playoffs.
With both Duncan and Ginobili out, does that mean Tony Parker scores 65 tonight. He had a career-high 55 the first time these teams met this season.
