Now it’s Chandler, Peja out for Hornets tonight in N’awlins

Last night, the Wolves couldn’t take advantage when Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili were missing from San Antonio’s lineup. Tonight, two Hornets starters are out: Tyson Chandler and Peja Stojakovic.

Wolves guard Randy Foye will start. He hobbled out of AT&T Center last night after he got kicked in the knee, but it won’t keep him from playing tonight.

Kevin McHale was upset with just about every aspect of last night’s 93-86 loss. He particularly got on his team and rookie Kevin Love — and himself as well — for letting the first-half officiating disturb them. Love apparently settled down at halftime because he got 14 of his 19 rebounds and all 17 of his points after intermission.

His 19 rebounds were one shy of the team’s rookie record, but that 20 almost doesn’t count because Dean Garrett was 30 years old when he set that record in 1997.

“Dean was a seasoned rookie,” McHale said.

The franchise single-game rebound record is 25, held, of course, by that Garnett guy.

Here’s a question: Before his career is over, what will Love’s single-game rebound record be? I’ll start the bidding at 28.
