You missed nothing: Rockets 107, Wolves 88

Good thing this one wasn’t on TV back home.

The Rockets slugged the Wolves and they never responded. Looked like they couldn’t wait for this tough three-game trip to be over. Now they get to do it all over again next week, only this time at Atlanta, Philly and Cleveland.

Only 13 left, though!

Jerry Zgoda is back for his second season on the Wolves beat, after covering the franchise's first four seasons so long ago. He has spent the offseason diligently working on his deadline chops, brushing up on his Strunk & White Elements of Style writing guide book and tirelessly drilling to improve his foot speed so he has a quicker first step to the pregame buffet line this season. He celebrates his 24th anniversary at the Star Tribune two nights after the Wolves open the regular season at home against Sacramento on Oct. 29.
