The Wolves and Kurt Rambis have agreed in principal to a contract, Wolves president of basketball operations David Kahn confirmed this morning.

The deal is being finalized today and will be signed by Rambis on Monday, and a news conference introducing the former Lakers player to the Twin Cities is to be scheduled for Tuesday.

More to come later today, but the search for a coach to replace Kevin McHale, which has dragged on for weeks and included as many as 14 candidates and three finalists, appears finally to be complete.
