Watch Pekovic, Rubio streamed live today (I think)

If you’re curious how Wolves prospects Ricky Rubio and Nikolia Pekovic are faring in Europe — and judging from yesterday’s live chat, plenty of folks are — their games this afternoon are scheduled to be streamed live on the Web, if a bit overlapped.

Pekovic’s Greece team plays starting at 2:15 p.m., Rubio’s Regal Barcelona team plays at 2:45. (Nick Calathes, the former Florida guard who the Wolves drafted in the second round last summer and then traded to Dallas also plays on Pekovic’s team).

I don’t think I’ve ever watched games on this site, so I’m not sure of the quality or reliability, but they should be carried live at www.atdhe.net

Disregard that the screen says Saturday, Oct. 31. Both those games — Panathinaikos vs. BC Khimki and Regal FC Barcelona vs. KK Cibona Zagreb — are this afternoon (or evening in Europe).

UPDATE: Some readers have pointed out the above site illegally streams games, which I did not know. You can watch select Euroleague games — Rubio’s game this afternoon is on the schedule — on ESPN360 broadband with access through your individual Internet provider.

http://www.atdhe.net showed several Wolves preseason games. The video is really good, but the audio can be tinny sometimes.

dufus: if it were illegal someone would have sued ESPN for a pretty penny by now.

Defense: that was a great weak-side steal by Pavlovic in the 4th qtr yesterday, Lopez never even saw it coming. Brewer’s pick and Wilkins dive were also great. Brewer sure does cover a lot of ground on the break very quickly.

Jerry… the quality is decent.
Looking forward to watching Ricky “Live”
Thanks for the tip.

Analysis of the Wolves’ comeback win, Flynn’s fourth-quarter dominance, Lopez owning the paint, and more:

Jerry, It’s because I care: This is a “grey area” site. Don’t want you/already broke Strib to get in trouble.

Arenal: ESPN pays for the rights to those games.

Jerry, thanks for the tip. As a Wolves fan living outside the US, I really couldn’t care less if live streaming hosting sites are illegal…

Anybody running out to Howler’s blog that he keeps showing up and pimping? I haven’t been there, but I think it’s funny that he shows up at every string and peddling his wares.

The thing I liked most about Flynn’s debut (besides his obvious display of charisa, composure and leadership) was his 10 FT attempts. It was not been exaggerated how well he gets to the hole. If he can improve on his opening-night 5-13 shooting, he’ll be pretty difficult to guard.

How do you explain 2 assists, though. I was travelling and only got to watch the end of the game, so I’m not sure why nobody on The Wolves had more than 2 dimes? Was ball movement shoddy? Did most of our points come on 2nd-chance shots?

it is illegal, and everyone watches it. If its posted up all around its gonna get taken down because of you clowns ruining it.
